As a renowned, family-run gallery, we are dedicated to presenting, promoting and trading significant works – from classical modernism and German expressionism to contemporary art. Our aim is not only to exhibit art, but also to bring it to life for collectors, museums, artists and all those interested in art.

Founded in 1853, Galerie Utermann is now one of Germany’s leading galleries for 20th and 21st century art. As a family-run gallery, we value personal advice, long-term relationships and scholarly support for artworks – for private collectors as well as museums and institutions.
